Rock wool imitation stone insulation and decoration integrated board is an external wall integrated board prefabricated in the factory, which combines high simulation stone veneer with the main product fireproof (based on actual reports) rock wool insulation core material. It simultaneously solves the dual needs of "excellent stone appearance" and "high-level fire safety (based on actual reports)" for building exterior walls, especially suitable for high-rise buildings, public buildings, and densely populated places with strict fire safety requirements. The product combines granite like luxury visual effects with non combustible insulation performance, making it an ideal upgrade solution to replace dry hanging stone and traditional thin plastering systems.

1、 Product Core Structure

The product consists of three main components: decorative layer, insulation layer, and lining layer, which are formed through high-temperature and high-pressure composite molding. Each layer has clear functions and is firmly bonded.

The imitation stone decorative layer (decorative surface) is located on the outermost side of the board, responsible for presenting realistic stone textures. Adopting excellent painting techniques, common types include:

Water in Water Colorful Paint: Various colors of water-based colored particles are blended through colloid technology and sprayed in one go to form a point like or flowing effect resembling granite or marble, with a simulation degree of over 90%. The color is rich and customizable, and the surface has a flat effect.

Water in Sand Colorful Paint: Adding naturally growing colored sand on the basis of water in water, the surface after spraying has a textured texture of lychee or burnt surface, closer to rough stone, while increasing the coating thickness and performance.

True stone paint: sprayed with naturally grown colored sand as aggregate, presenting a thick texture like sandstone and slate, with natural texture and relatively low cost.

Fluorocarbon coating (optional): Spraying another layer of fluorocarbon varnish on the surface of the imitation stone paint can greatly improve its UV resistance, pollution resistance, and self-cleaning performance, extending the service life of the finish to 20-25 years. The glossiness (matte, semi gloss, high gloss) and surface effect (flat, matte, lychee) of the decorative layer can be adjusted as needed, and the color and texture can be customized according to the stone sample.

The rock wool insulation core material layer (functional layer) is located in the middle of the board and is the core functional layer of the product. Using high-quality basalt as raw material, it is melted at high temperature, centrifuged into fibers, solidified into shape, and then cut into rock wool strips (vertical wire rock wool strips).

Fireproof (based on actual reports) level: Main product (non combustible) - This is the advantage of rock wool, which does not burn, smoke, or melt in the event of fire, fully meeting the mandatory main product requirements of the "Code for Fire Protection Design of Buildings (based on actual reports)" for high-rise buildings (>27m residential buildings,>24m public buildings) and densely populated areas.

Thermal insulation performance: The thermal conductivity is usually between 0.040-0.046 W/(m · K), which can effectively reduce building energy consumption.

Morphological characteristics: Vertical fiber rock wool tape is used, which means that the direction of the rock wool fibers is perpendicular to the surface of the board, greatly improving the tensile strength and compressive strength of the board, avoiding the defects of easy delamination and deformation of ordinary rock wool boards.

Other characteristics: good breathability (beneficial for wall moisture removal), sound absorption, stable chemical properties, corrosion resistance (based on actual reports).

The backing board (reinforcement layer) is composite on the inner side of the rock wool core material (against the wall), usually using high-density calcium silicate board or fiber cement board. The functions include: improving the overall bending and impact strength of the board; Balance the stress on both sides to prevent warping and deformation of the board; Provide a flat and secure adhesive base, and confirm excellent bonding with the wall.

High strength polyurethane adhesive or epoxy structural adhesive is used between each layer, which is formed by high-temperature and high-pressure composite molding on an automated production line to ensure long-term use without delamination, hollowing, or cracking. The upper and lower surfaces of the rock wool layer are usually covered with interface reinforcement layers to prevent the rock wool fibers from becoming loose.

2、 Core advantages

Lightweight and high-strength, with good performance: The finished product weight is usually 10-18kg/㎡, much lower than dry hanging stone (including keel 50-80kg/㎡). Using vertical wire rock wool tape, the tensile strength can reach over 0.1MPa (much higher than ordinary rock wool), combined with adhesive anchor bonding technology, it has good resistance to negative wind pressure and no risk of detachment.

Thermal insulation, energy-saving, comfortable and environmentally friendly: The excellent thermal insulation performance of rock wool can reduce the energy consumption of building heating and cooling. At the same time, rock wool has breathability, which is conducive to the discharge of moisture inside the wall, avoiding condensation and mold, and improving living comfort.

Construction effect and shortened construction period: dry operation, completing insulation and decoration processes in one installation. Compared to the traditional method of "first doing rock wool insulation+plastering leveling+dry hanging stone", it can shorten the external wall construction period by more than 50%.

Weather resistant and stain resistant, easy to maintain: The imitation stone finish (especially with fluorocarbon cover) is resistant to ultraviolet rays and acid rain, and is not easily faded or powdered after long-term exposure. Good surface self-cleaning, can be cleaned by rainwater flushing, and has low maintenance costs.

Sound absorption: Rock wool core material itself is a porous fiber structure with definite sound absorption function, which can provide additional sound insulation effect for buildings.

3、 Applicable scenarios

High rise and higher rise residential and office buildings: meet the mandatory requirements for fire prevention of the main product (based on actual reports), while achieving excellent stone appearance and being lightweight and safe.

Public buildings: hospitals, schools, kindergartens, nursing homes, sports halls, exhibition halls, theaters and other densely populated places, fire safety (based on actual reports) is the first consideration.

Commercial complexes such as shopping malls, hotels, and large supermarkets require exterior wall designs that are both aesthetically pleasing and fire-resistant (based on actual reports).

Energy saving renovation of existing buildings: Especially suitable for the exterior wall renovation of old high-rise buildings, it can be directly constructed without demolishing the original wall, while improving the fire protection (based on actual reports) level and appearance grade.

Buildings that require breathability, such as historical protected buildings and wooden structure enclosures, require walls to be able to 'breathe' and expel moisture.

4、 Installation method description (adhesive anchor bonding process)

Grassroots treatment: Clean up floating dust, oil stains, and loose parts on the wall, and confirm that the wall is basically flat (with a flatness error of no more than 1cm). Use mortar to level uneven areas.

Snap line grid: According to the design layout, pop horizontal and vertical control lines on the wall and mark the anchor positions.

Preparation of bonding mortar: Use one-to-one rock wool board polymer bonding mortar, add water in proportion and mix evenly.

Paste the board: Apply bonding mortar (with an area not less than 60% of the board surface) to the back of the board using the strip bonding method or point frame method, and then paste it to the predetermined position on the wall. Use a ruler and a rubber hammer to level and compact it.

Mechanical anchoring: Use one-to-one fasteners (such as Z-shaped and C-shaped parts) and expansion bolts to mechanically reinforce the sides of the board with the wall. Due to the lower tensile strength of rock wool core material compared to organic (based on actual reports) boards, the number of anchoring components should be appropriately increased. Each board usually has no less than 6-8 anchoring points, and the anchoring components need to be effectively anchored into the wall base layer.

Caulking and sealing: polyethylene foam rod (the dimension is about 1/2 of the seam width) is embedded between the board seams, and then weather resistant silicone sealant is injected, and scraped with a scraper to form a concave or flat seam. The sealant should be compatible with the rock wool and decorative layer.

Cleaning acceptance: Remove the surface protective film, clean the surface dust and residual adhesive stains with a soft cloth, and check the overall flatness, verticality, and joint quality.
