Imitation stone paint insulation decorative integrated board
Imitation stone paint insulation and decoration integrated board is an external wall integrated board that combines the decorative effect of imitation stone paint with the insulation core material prefabricated in the factory. It uses imitation stone paint as the decorative layer, realistically reproducing the texture and texture of natural growing stones such as granite and marble. At the same time, composite insulation core materials are used to achieve building energy saving, achieving a comprehensive effect of "decoration like stone, insulation and energy saving, and efficient construction". This product is a mature solution to replace dry hanging stone, improve building quality, and meet energy-saving requirements, especially suitable for projects that pursue good cost-effectiveness and suitable delivery speed.
1、 Product Core Structure
The product consists of three main components: decorative layer, insulation layer, and lining layer, which are formed through high-temperature and high-pressure composite molding. Each layer has clear functions and is firmly bonded.
The decorative layer of imitation stone paint is located on the outermost side of the board and is the "core of the product's appearance". Adopting water-based environmentally friendly stone like coating system, common types include:
Water in Water Colorful Paint: Mix multiple colors of water-based colored particles in the same liquid phase and spray them in one go to form a point like or flowing effect resembling granite or marble. High simulation degree (up to 90% or more), rich colors and customizable according to stone samples, with a flat surface effect.
Water in Sand Colorful Paint: Adding naturally growing colored sand on the basis of water in water, the surface after spraying has a textured texture of lychee or burnt surface, which is closer to rough stone. At the same time, the coating is thicker and has better performance.
True stone paint: sprayed with naturally grown colored sand as aggregate, presenting a thick texture like sandstone and slate, with natural texture, good weather resistance, and relatively low cost.
Fluorocarbon coating (optional): Spraying another layer of fluorocarbon varnish on the surface of the imitation stone paint can greatly improve its UV resistance, pollution resistance, and self-cleaning performance, extending the service life of the finish to 20-25 years and maintaining bright colors for a long time. The glossiness (matte, semi gloss, high gloss) and surface effect (flat, matte, lychee) of the decorative layer can be adjusted as needed, and the color and texture are highly flexible.
The insulation core material layer (functional layer) is located in the middle of the board and is responsible for blocking heat transfer. According to the fire prevention level (based on actual reports), energy-saving standards, and budget of the project, the following options can be selected:
Rock wool tape (main product for fire prevention (based on actual reports): non combustible material, high temperature resistance (based on actual reports) exceeding 1000 ℃, all meeting the strictest fire safety regulations for high-rise buildings and densely populated areas. Adopting vertical wire technology, with good tensile strength. Suitable for projects with high fire prevention requirements (based on actual reports).
Graphite polystyrene board (SEPS, B1 grade): contains graphite particles, can reflect infrared thermal radiation, has insulation performance 20-30% higher than ordinary EPS, appears silver gray, and has good cost-effectiveness. Suitable for residential and commercial projects with moderate fire prevention requirements (based on actual reports).
Extruded polystyrene board (XPS, B1/B2 grade): with good strength and relatively low water absorption, suitable for areas with special requirements for moisture resistance (based on actual reports) and compression resistance (such as basement and cold storage exterior walls).
Polyurethane rigid foam (PU, B1/B2 grade): Its thermal conductivity is relatively low among all organic (based on actual reports) insulation materials (≤ 0.024 W/(m · K)), with excellent insulation effect, and it adheres firmly to the panel during foaming.
Thermosetting modified polystyrene board (genuine gold board, A2/B1 grade): forms a carbonized layer during combustion, has no melt droplets, and combines good insulation and fire resistance (based on actual reports), making it a balanced choice between B1 grade and flagship products.
The lining backboard (reinforcement layer) is composite inside the insulation layer (against the wall), usually using high-density calcium silicate board or fiber cement board. The functions include: significantly improving the bending and impact strength of the board; Balance the stress on both sides to prevent warping and deformation of the board; Provide a flat and secure adhesive base, and confirm excellent bonding with the wall.
High strength polyurethane adhesive or epoxy structural adhesive is used between each layer, which is formed by high-temperature and high-pressure composite molding on an automated production line to ensure long-term use without delamination, hollowing, or cracking.
2、 Core advantages
The decorative effect is comparable to that of naturally grown stone, and the cost is greatly reduced: the imitation stone paint has a high degree of simulation, and it is difficult to distinguish the authenticity with the naked eye. The comprehensive cost (materials+construction+auxiliary materials) is only 1/3 to 1/2 of that of dry hanging stone, and avoids the problems of color difference, radiation, and resource scarcity of naturally grown stone.
Lightweight and high-strength, with good performance: The finished product weight is usually only 8-18kg/㎡ (depending on the core material), while dry hanging stone (including keel) can reach 50-80kg/㎡. Significantly reducing the load on building structures, using adhesive anchor bonding technology, with good resistance to negative wind pressure and no risk of high-altitude detachment.
Thermal insulation, energy-saving, and green environmental protection (based on actual reports): The thermal conductivity of the insulation core material is low, and the effect is excellent in reducing the energy consumption of building operation. The product is prefabricated in the factory, with no wet operations on site, reducing dust and construction waste, in line with the concept of green building.
Construction effect and shortened construction period: dry operation, completing insulation and decoration processes in one installation. Compared with the traditional methods of "first making insulation layer, then dry hanging stone" or "first insulation and then spraying real stone paint", it can shorten the external wall construction period by more than 50% and accelerate capital turnover.
Weather resistant and stain resistant, easy to maintain: The imitation stone paint finish (especially with fluorocarbon coating) is resistant to ultraviolet rays and acid rain, and is not easily faded or powdered after long-term exposure to sunlight and rain. The surface has good self-cleaning properties and can be cleaned by rainwater flushing, without the need for regular application of protective agents like naturally grown stone.
Color and texture can be highly customized: it can imitate the vast majority of granite, marble, sandstone and other varieties on the market, and can also customize exclusive colors and textures according to design needs to achieve personalized expression of architecture.
3、 Applicable scenarios
Excellent residences and villas: Creating elegant and heavy stone facades, enhancing the level of the property and market premium ability, with controllable costs.
Commercial and public buildings: hotels, shopping malls, office buildings, sales offices, clubs, schools, hospitals, theaters, etc., achieve the unity of aesthetics and energy efficiency while controlling costs.
Energy saving renovation and exterior wall renovation of old buildings: It can be directly pasted or hung on the original ceramic tiles, coatings or mosaic walls, with minimal construction interference and suitable speed to improve the appearance and energy-saving performance of the building.
High rise and higher rise buildings: Their lightweight characteristics make them particularly suitable for the exterior walls of high-rise buildings. If the main product rock wool core material is selected, it can also meet fire safety regulations.
Cold regions with hot summers and cold winters: areas with strict requirements for building energy efficiency, where imitation stone paint insulation boards can meet both energy-saving indicators and appearance grade requirements.
4、 Installation method description (adhesive anchor bonding process)
Grassroots treatment: Clean up floating dust, oil stains, and loose parts on the wall, and confirm that the wall is basically flat (with a flatness error of no more than 1cm). Use mortar to level uneven areas.
Snap line grid: According to the design layout, pop horizontal and vertical control lines on the wall and mark the anchor positions.
Preparation of bonding mortar: Use one-to-one polymer bonding mortar, add water according to the product instructions and mix evenly.
Pasting board: Apply bonding mortar on the back of the board using the strip bonding method or point frame method (with a coating area of not less than 50% of the board surface, and the rock wool board should reach more than 60%), and then stick it to the predetermined position on the wall. Use a ruler and a rubber hammer to level and compact it.
Mechanical anchoring: Use one-to-one fasteners (such as Z-shaped and C-shaped parts) and expansion bolts to mechanically reinforce the sides of the board with the wall. Each panel usually has no less than 4-6 anchoring points, and high-rise buildings or rock wool core materials should be appropriately densified.
Caulking and sealing: polyethylene foam rod (the dimension is about 1/2 of the seam width) is embedded between the board seams, and then weather resistant silicone sealant is injected, and scraped with a scraper to form a concave or flat seam.
Cleaning acceptance: Remove the surface protective film, clean the surface dust and residual adhesive stains with a soft cloth, and check the overall flatness, verticality, and joint quality.
